I was one of the first residents at T&P seven years ago. It has been one of the best decisions I ever made! As a young 23 year old single woman the T&P offered many security features that other apartment/condominiums did not. Some other perks are that dry cleaning is delivered twice daily and the concierge are always willing to help 24 hours a day. Downtown Fort Worth is always eventful. This past Saturday the Cowtown Marathon route was right out front the loft. They had a DJ and it looked like tons of fun. Sundance Square, which is only a short and safe walking distance from our building is beautiful. You can find everything from Main Street Arts festival to a free yoga class in The Square. One of my favorite things to do is grab a glass of wine on the upstairs balcony (around the fire pit) at Bird's Cafe. My girlfriends and I love to do a little shopping at the Loft or White House Black Market. Taverna is our favorite happy hour spot because pizza and appetizers are half priced and they have the best bellinis around. Downtown Fort Worth has so much to offer from 5 star restaurants, theaters and clubs there have been many weekends that our car has not left the garage. Since getting married in January my husband and I enjoy the Water Gardens, Trinity Trails or a good jinga game at our very own Tavern. The Tavern is a our favorite hidden gem. People are very friendly and seem to look out for each other.
My name is Eduardo and I've lived at the T&P on the 11th floor since 2008. What drew me to the lofts was the location-being at the foot of downtown with the water garden as your front yard. I fell in love with the architectural style and the amenities within the building. Also, downtown Ft Worth is so safe. I lived in Austin since graduate school and could have bought there but Ft Worth has the history, the culture(I am a classically trained pianist and served on the Austin Arts Commission for years) which is so accessible from Bass Hall, the FW Symphony, and all the downtown arts events and the people. At the T&P, I feel a commonality and community that I've never felt-everyone is so friendly! The utilities are no problem due to the insular quality of the construction and there never going to build another one. My bills are basically nominal-water is less than $11.00 or so. Electricity runs less than $50. and having protected parking and the 24 hour concierge has been very reassuring and they DO things for you that no one else will do-they've helped start my car when it wouldn't, taken my mail up, helped me move my stove so I could clean behind it... You name it. Mostly, it's really home and so comfortable. I hope you'll find it is the best place to call home, as well!
We have lived at the T&P for over a year now and it is one of the best decisions we ever made! Downtown Fort Worth is the place to be and there is no rival to the new and improved Sundance Square, which is only a short and safe walking distance from our building. In fact, between all the downtown restaurants, theaters and events, as well as having a Tavern just downstairs, there have been many weekends that our car has not left the garage. This year we purchased a town bike to ride to Title Boxing Gym on 4th street for classes and are pleasantly surprised as how easy it is to bike downtown. We are looking forward to the spring as well to bike the Trinity Trails. One of our favorite things about living in the T&P has been getting to know the community here. People are very friendly and seem to look out for each other. Again, the Tavern is a favorite meeting place! Also, since purchasing our loft it's value has already risen by at least 25%! What a great investment it has been, monetarily and quality of life!
